Brian Mann of North Country Public Radio made this interesting observation a day or two ago on his news blog.

Mr. Tedisco was quoted as saying, "Next year, I will, when I'm the congressman. My wife will be able to vote in the district because we own a home there."

Supporters of Tedisco Seek to Disenfranchise Military Voters

Niverville, New York, March 20, 2009. Eric Sundwall, independent and Libertarian candidate for Congress (20th NY), today criticized three supporters of James Tedisco for seeking to have a state judge void the ballots of military voters.

Three supporters of congressional candidate James Tedisco are asking state Judge James Brands to strike Sundwall from the ballot which would void any military or absentee votes for Sundwall. They are Patricia Killian, Chair of the Dutchess County Conservative Party, Donald J. Neddo and Laurie Kelly Sickles.

Sundwall said, "Ballots with my name on them have already been mailed to our solders in Iraq and Afghanistan, but these Tedisco supporters want to throw me off the ballot so their votes won't count."

"I call on Mr. Tedisco to repudiate this lawsuit so our soldiers in the field can cast the ballot of their choice. I am also shocked that anyone associated with the Conservative Party would lend their names to this disgraceful effort," Sundwall said.

The Times Union recently printed questions to candidates Tedisco & Murphy. I have spoken to Casey Seiler about this and am told they are on the way. Here's my crack at it before this thing is over.

After the jump . . .

A listener requested that Al Rooney have Eric on his show today. Al invites everyone on Friday for what he calls "Free Speech Friday".

Supporters called Eric and he called in. With what little time there was left on the show Al asked him back to debate Tedisco or Murphy. Of course, Eric accepted. We'll see if they dare debate him on the air, let alone after he makes the ballot.
