Dear Tim Morgan,
Congratulations on you appointment ( or did you suffer a plebiscite for such a noble position ? ) as the Republican National Committee's new Treasurer.
If you'll consult your records, I'm sure you'll find that I have never been a Republican, nor made any contributions to the NY GOP, let alone the RNC. So I am surprised that you know how generously I have helped the Party in the past.
I don't want to believe you've abandoned the Republican Party, but I have to ask . . . Have you given up ? . . . . I promised Mike Duncan, the RNC Chairman and former Treasurer himself, that I'd contact you at once to get you back on our team.
Okay Tim, let me check my trade clause with the chairman of my Party, the Libertarian Party before I get back to you on this. I'm sure Bill Redpath will be disappointed with me to find out I've given up on my position on the LNC in order to donate to a party that starts illegal wars, implements illegal wiretaps and suspends hapeus corpus. But you never know . . .
Actually Tim I'm rather pleased to say that one of your former members, Congressman Bob Barr, (you know one of the guys who lead the impeachment battle against former President and Democrat Bill Clinton) is on our team now. When I see him in Pittsburgh on July 21st I'll be sure to ask him if switching parties was worth it.
Liberal leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are leading the charge to reverse the Bush/Republican agenda while pushing our country to the extreme left. We need your help to stop the Democrats ultraliberal agenda of higher taxes and more government regulation.
Actually Tim, I think you might find my agenda of no taxes and no government regulation quite ultralibertarian. You see, I watched the Reagan era usher in more government, Bush senior promise deficit and debt reduction, Clinton advance into Kosovo and bomb Iraq and Bush Jr. start a prescription medicine program that reeks of corporatism and welfare all rolled up in one.I noticed that the taxpayers just sent you about 16 million in order have your convention. Considering we struggle with an entire budget of 1.6 it's hard for me to feel any sympathy. I'm proud to be a member of the Libertarian National Committee and couldn't think of a better place to be in order to expose yours and the Democrats hypocrisy and quite frankly, idiocy. Please keep sending me these missives.
